I hate...

Bad graphics: Honestly, if the skintone on your final version of something resembles an neon sign or an alien, it's bad. Gah!

Poor image quality: This just makes for shitty graphics; makes me sad. :(

Blah blah blah

Working on Esther's novel cover; I'm almost done!

I think, and hope, that she is going to like it. Don't want to give anything away from what I've read so far of her book; but I think it really fits in well with the theme of the book. If not, I'll keep working until she is 10000% happy with it. I am so honored that she would ask me to come up with an idea for a book cover. She's such a great friend, and I don't know where I would be without her sometimes.

Other news: Still working. Blah, I hate the summer months at work, only because we get a lot more prank calls since kids are out of school, and apparently have nothing else better to do. Seriously? That's the best kids with virtually unlimited technology can come up with, is to prank call a pizza company and waste ten minutes out of someone's day? Wow. Go outside and play, or something.

Eh, done here. Finish working and sending stuff off to Esther soon.

Hatred Murder

I wonder what the hell is going on in people's heads. Really, do they not think about the consequences of their actions before they just run off and do something absolutely stupid?

Sigh. Reading articles like this; it's just disgusting in every sense of the word.

He, a man who was committed to protecting our country, our ideals, and her people would destroy something so beautiful as life. Life comes in many forms; some of the things that are normal for them may seem different or unusual to an outsider, but it is still life. It leads me to believe that he learned nothing of tolerance for others beyond his scope of existence.

I know the world isn't perfect, and nothing is defined black and white, but my god, to kill an entire family without remorse or regret - it's unthinkable. He plead not guilty to murder. Murder. It's almost an insult to the thousands of people who have been killed in the war; and yet; for months the incident was brushed off as an inter-country fight. Not something that could have been done at the hands of someone sworn to serve and protect.

Yes, I understand that units will lose people during times of war; but to harbor a hatred for the countrymen of Iraq - to retaliate in such a way that will forever change your life... Frankly, I can't imagine.

Most of all, this makes me sad. To know that there are people still on this planet that have enough hatred and evil in themselves to kill innocent people. I hope that a lesson is learned by all. Hatred only breeds anger, and anger breeds the destruction of life.
